Connect your Shopify Store to AfterShip Reviews

Overview


AfterShip Reviews is a reviews app designed to help eCommerce businesses collect, manage, and showcase customer reviews. It enables merchants to import reviews from platforms like AliExpress, send automated review request emails, and display user-generated content such as photos and videos to increase feedback authenticity. By leveraging authentic social proof, AfterShip Reviews helps increase trust, improve brand credibility, and boost conversion rates.

Prerequisites


  • You must have an active Shopify store. If you don’t have one, create one here.
  • You must have an active AfterShip Reviews subscription. AfterShip Reviews’s Free plan offers all the features needed to optimize your review collection process. For more premium and automated solutions, we recommend subscribing to one of our Paid plans.


Install AfterShip Reviews through Shopify app store



  • Go to your Shopify app store ** section and search **AfterShip Product Reviews.
  • You will land on the AfterShip Product Reviews ** installation page. Click **Add app (if you're already logged in) and select the store with which you'd like to connect the app. If you're not logged in to your Shopify account, you will see the Install app option.
  • The permission request page will appear, where you’ll see the Install app option. Click on it to connect AfterShip Reviews with your Shopify store.


Connect Shopify store through AfterShip Reviews


  1. Go to ** Apps ** in AfterShip Reviews admin.
  2. Click View more apps, and you will be redirected to the AfterShip Reviews integration page.
  3. Find Shopify and select it to land on the detailed integration page and click Install app.
  4. Select the right organization (online store) if you have multiple organizations configured in AfterShip Reviews for which you are establishing this integration.
  5. You will redirected to your Shopify admin where you will be presented with privacy and permission details. Read through them and click Install app.

  1. Verify that the connection has been established successfully by visiting Shopify Store’s Apps ** section or ** AfterShip Review's Apps ** section and click **Store connections to check the status.


  • You store URL will be labelled as Connected on the Shopify connection page.

  1. Once connected, you can start importing your product and store reviews to AfterShip Reviews dashboard for centralized management.


Post-connection actions


  1. Import reviews


  • AfterShip Reviews enables you to import reviews to AfterShip Reviews from AliExpress by adding the Import Reviews button to your browser’s bookmark toolbar and installing the widget at AliExpress.


  • You can also import reviews from a CSV file with the defined format.


  1. Collect reviews


Review collection with AfterShip Reviews enables you to set up product and store review widget for shoppers to share their post-purchase feedback. There are several ways that allow you to optimize and automate review collection on your online store.
